Work environment is all about creating "A Great Place to Work", it is about making an organization where people belong, one where they would love to come, one where people would like to work, one where harmonious relationship are in existence. An environment is created by the stakeholders but most importantly it flows from the top, where leaders and top management have the responsibility to have values that foster, motivation, respect, commitment, risk taking, knowledge sharing and most importantly they take pride in what they do.

Creating a work environment for success:

Banish the snooze button

You will only achieve your goals if you create a plan and keep on or ahead of schedule. Failing to plan is planning to fail, plan will give you control over time, resources and schdules. Identify your activities and make sure you narrow them down.

Become curious

Instead of feeling disheartened by those who have achieved more than you, or are better at what they do than you ask them how they achieved their success. and get motivated to attain what they have achieved. Learn from their story and leave no stone unturned to achiveve your dreams.

Model successful behaviour

We learn more by observation than by other things, imitate others but modelling them for instance If you were learning a new sport you would copy the best technique. It is no different in business.

Don't get too comfortable

Complacency offers friction to development, Develop friendships and associations with people who challenge you get a mentor to guide you and a coach to keep you on track. Ask yourself whether there are attitudes, habits or people you need to say goodbye to in order to change your mind-set and/or environment for success. There is aneed to constantly refelct on the environment, people and their behaviours and finding answers to the aforementioned questions.

Keep learning

Keep Learning through asking questions, observing others, judging peoples behaviours, seeing their actions, reading cases, all that can teach you something new, GO FOR IT.  invest in yourself and always ensure that you are growing and developing. Be brave. The next level of Success probably lies slightly outside your current comfort zone.
